Abducted girl recovered from HP, accused held 12/22/2015 9:56:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 22: Khour police claimed to have recovered a kidnapped girl from Himachal Pradesh and arrested the kidnapper. Further investigations are on in this matter. Police spokesman said that on a reliable information police team of Khour police station led by HC Brijpal was dispatched to Himachal Pradesh yesterday at about 1100 hrs during investigation of case registered under FIR no.72/2015 u/s 366 of RPC. "During the raid the police party recovered the kidnapped girl Nesha Devi of Khour at about 20.00hrs from village Gagrate Distt.Una Himachal Pradesh," police said, adding, "The entire operation was carried out under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor, Naresh Singh, SP Rural Rajive Panday." Police also said that police team also has apprehended the accused (kidnapper) who has been identified as Vikram Singh of Naryana Khour before he could give slip to police party and brought the accused and rescued girl to Jammu. After completion of legal formalities and medical examination the girl was handed over to family members while accused has been put behind the bars.
