Jammu, Dec 22: In a much publicized Udhampur Attack case in which a Pak National Mohd Naveed alias Usman was arrested by the police, the Special Judge NIA Court, Y P Kotwal today extended 14 days judicial remand of Pak national Laiskher militant Mohd Naveed alias Usman of Pakistan and five others. After hearing Spl PP for NIA whereas Advocates Subodh Singh Jamwal, PN Bhat and Seema Sharma appearing for the accused, the Special Judge NIA Court extended judicial remand of Mohd Naveed alias Usman s/o Mohd Yaqoob r/o Kukianwala, Rafiq Colony, Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat s/o Gulam Mohammed Bhat of Awantipora, Pulwama, Showkat Ahmed Bhat s/o Ali Mohd Bhat of Pulwama, Shabzar Ahmed Bhat s/o Abdul Rashid Bhat of Nai Basti, Kulgam, Khursheed Ahmed Ittoo and Fayaz Ahmed Ittoo @ Foyaz @ Fayaz. Special Judge NIA Y P KOtwal after perusal of the case dairy observed that as per the investigation conducted in this case, one more accused namely Ashiq Hussain Bhat @ Ubaida has also been found involved in the conspiracy behind the attack and he is absconding and has been apprehended till date and more evidences oral and documentary are yet to be collected to finalize the investigation. With these observations the special Judge NIA Court allowed the application and granted 14 days judicial remand. --(JNF) |
