JAMMU, Dec 22: A Christmas rally was organized here today by the Joint Churches of Jammu in connection with the Christmas celebrations. Different Churches of Jammu City, their priests and public participated enthusiastically in the rally.
The rally after starting from Shahidi Chowk, moved to Raghunath Bazar, Shalamar Road, Parade Ground, Jain Bazar, Kanak Mandi and other areas of old Jammu City. The beautiful scenes on the trollies were a great attraction for the general public of Jammu city. At many places, the Shopkeepers gave refreshment to the people participating in the rally.
The rally was organized to give message of peace, harmony and brotherhood among the people. The main organizers of the rally include Rev. Udhay Singh Priest of St. Paul Church Residency Road, Rev. Shoukat Peter, President Joint Churches of Jammu, Father Kuriakos Priest of Catholic Church Jammu SM Gill, Ex MLC, Festus Sotra, Pastor Robin Bhatti, Pastor Anthony Teji, Postor Rohil Mattoo, Postor Johny Bhatti, Pastor Younis Gill and Camres David Babloo.
