POONCH, Dec 22: A Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Manjakote Sector under Romeo Force made efforts to improve the infrastructure available and assist in quality education to the school children by distributing furniture to Government Middle School, Danna Palam.
The school authorities and locals had requested the Army for provision of furniture as there was shortage of seating for the students and staff. Rashtriya Rifles Battalion provided 21 two seater benches, four office chairs, two office tables, two steel almirahs and one book shelf to the school.
The event was attended by Alam Hussain Sarpanch of village Danna Palam, Wahid Hussain headmaster of the school, 07 teachers, 58 students and 18 other citizens .The smiles on the faces of the school staff and children was telling of their appreciation of the Indian Army. |
