Jammu, Dec 22: All three units of 120 MW Sewa II Power Station of NHPC Limited, located at Mashka in Kathua district, started hydropower-generation ready after routine repair and maintenance. As per press release, hydropower units were closed on 7th December 2015. After carrying out the complete maintenance drill, the two units were made operational on 18th December and the last machine was restored late in the evening of 21st December. The Chief Engineer Incharge, Sewa II Power Station, P K Langar, appreciated the efforts of the powerhouse team for an early restoration of all three units within a short span of time. It may be recalled that the Sewa II PS has continuously over-achieved its generation targets and has been declared the best performing power station of NHPC on all parameters.
