KC Public School students stage English plays | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 22 : In the ongoing series of English plays being staged at KC Public School, the students of classes 3, 4 and 7 presented three plays at Mandua Open Air Theatre on the school campus in front of a large gathering of parents. Class 3 children performed 'Chulbuls' Tails' and Class 4 put up the play 'How the Sea Became Salty'. Both plays were dramatized versions or short stories in their English language text books. Class 7 students presented the play 'Helping Hand' based on a short story from 'Malgudi Days' by RK Narayan, the world famous Indian writer in English. Amrita Sharma was adjudged Best Actor from the play by Class 3 whereas Ashmita Singh won the Best Supporting Actor award in the same play. In the Class 4 play, Ayushi was adjudged Best Actor and Saransh Gupta won the Best Supporting Actor award. In the play by Class 7, Hanumat Sharma was declared Best Actor and Vasu Bhardwaj was given the Best Supporting Actor award. All the children performed their roles with confidence and greatly entertained their parents. The Special Guest on the occasion was Prof Yashu Jain from JK College of Education. She praised the children for their excellent performance and distributed participation and special achievement certificates among them. |
