JAMMU, Jan 1 : Jammu and Kashmir Veteran Athletics Association today named the state team for the upcoming National Masters' Championship to be held at Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh from January five. The selection was made considering performance of the veteran athletes in the recently held state championship. "The team (men and women) shall be taking part in various field and track events in different age categories", general secretary of the Association, Tarsem Lal Basotra told . Earlier, the team underwent screening conducted by the J&K State Sports Council under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary, Shiv Kumar Sharma. The team is accompanied by Romesh Sharma and Gurcharan Singh.
