JAMMU, Jan 1: Jammu and Kashmir Fencing Association today announced its state teams for participation in the forthcoming Junior National (boys and girls) Championship to be held at Billaspur in Chattisgarh from January seven to January 10.
Earlier, the team underwent screening conducted by the State Sports Council, here today. Led by Joint Secretary, Shiv Kumar Sharma, the screening committee comprised international fencer, Rashid Ahmed, Krupali Singh, Arjun Choudhary and Divisional Sports Officer, Rajan Sharma.
Prior to the screening, the selected probable attended to a 21-day coaching camp which was sponsored by the State Sports Council.
The team is accompanied by State Sports Council fencing coach, Shotu Lal Sharma as coach while Amit and Ekta are managers.
