Jammu, Jan 1: The 13th executive meet was held between the office bearers of SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) under the chairmanship of President, Dr. Vikas Sharma at Main Campus Chatha, Jammu in which several agendas pertaining to the association and teaching fraternity were discussed.
According to press release, Dr. Vikas announced in the meeting that for the smooth functioning of TAJ, Dr. Berjesh Ajarawat, SMS (Extension Education) is nominated as new executive from KVK Kathua. Dr. Vikas also urged the State Government to look into the issue of road connectivity of the university to the nearest town as the present road is in bad shape for the last few years. Conductance of General Body Meeting (GBM), speedy disposal of genuine transfer cases, Dr. Arun Gupta memorial award, allotment of PhD students to Assistant Professors, were the other major issues discussed in this 13th Executive Committee Meet of SKUAST-TAJ. The meeting was attended by Dr. Vivek Arya-General Secretary, Dr. Devinder Sharma-Publicity Secretary, Dr. Rajeev Bharat-Treasurer, Dr. Jai kumar, Dr Anil Bhat-Executive and others. |
