IRCON, AAPCALMCI hold free aid distribution camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 1: Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of Indian Railways Construction Company Limited New Delhi (IRCON) and Alimco Auxiliary Production Centre Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (AAPCALMCI) in collaboration with Confederation of Physically Challenged Organizations, J&K is organizing an assessment camp for free distribution of Aids and Appliances to handicaps. According to spokesperson, Wheel Chair for Child and Adults , Tricycle, Hearing Aid, MR Kit, Tablet for Blind People, Crutches and Smart Cane, Rolator, C.P Chair, Daisy Player shall be distributed to handicaps during a camp scheduled on Jan 4 (Monday). The camp shall start at 09:00am onwards at Louis Braille Memorial Residential School For Sightless Girls fire Brigade Lane, Muthi Morh, Roop Nagar, Jammu with support of National Federation of Blind Jammu, J&K Association of Deaf, Jammu, SAHYOG India, J&K Handicap Welfare Association, Jammu, Panchkarma and Herbal Research Kendra and Disabled Care Foundation. "The beneficiaries / Handicapped Persons including Leprosy affected are required to be present with the two photographs showing disability, copy of Handicap Certificate and Address proof / Ration Card etc, spokesperson said. All organizations and the Individuals committed for the welfare of persons with disabilities are requested to circulate this message to all concerned and the unattended to get maximum benefits. |
