Kishtwar, Jan 22 : Kishtwar Police today arrested one person identified by police sources as Ravi Kumar son of Shadi Lal resident of Gohadi Drabshala and recovered approximately 4 litres of country made liquor and approximately 50 litres of Lahan from the house of the accused.
In this regard an FIR No 20/2016 u/s 48 - A(E ) Excise Act was registered in police station Kishtwar.
Meanwhile in its continuous drive against sale and manufacture of illicit liquor, team of Excise Department led by Range Officer Touseef Mustafa Wani under the supervision of ETO Gurdev Kumar conducted raids at several places in Palmar area of Kishtwar District and destroyed 150 liters of Lahan on state land, beside also destroyed utensils and liquor brewery on spot. |
