| Jammu Shocker: Another newly born female mangled by dogs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: In another shocking incident another abandoned newly born female fetus was found near SMGS Hospital Jammu which apparently has raised finger of suspicion over the hospital management particularly when a female newly born was found dead being mangled by stray dogs near parking of the said hospital.
Police sources said, the incident came to light when parking staff noticed some dogs running with pieces of a fetus in their jaws. They immediately reported the matter to the hospital authorities for due action, sources added.
They said, "Meanwhile a police team from police post SMGS Hospital also rushed to the spot and shooed the dogs to retrieve the body of infant."
Thereafter police shifted the body to the mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy of the body.
"Meanwhile Police have registered a case in this regard however police have failed to ascertain the identity of the parents of the baby till filing this report, sources added. Pertinent to mention here that newly born female has also been found being mauled by dogs by some passerby near office of the Directorate of Health earlier this week. |
