| GCOE organizes quiz competition on 'Good Health' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5 : The Government College of Education in collaboration of Red Ribbon Club today organizes a Quiz competition on 'Good Health' here at college premises.
According to press release, students of Government Middle School also participated in the event. Prof. C.L. Shivgotra and Suresh Kumar, Head Master of school were jury members on the occasion.
In the second phase of the program lecture was conducted for the senior class students of the school on 'HIV/AIDS Awareness', Prof. C.L. Shivgotra was resourse person in the occasion who shared his view about the deadly consequence of HIV/AIDS in todays generation and also expressed that it was duty of the young generation to spread the message in each and every corner of the society for the prevention of the fatal disease and they must know the cause, prevention and control of this disease to have 'no' Aids in the society.
Further student volunteers of Red Ribbon Club, GCOE, Jammu also expressed their views on HIV/AIDS through colourful poster presentations.
Suresh Kumar, Head Master, of the school, appreciated the efforts of the whole team of GCOE, Jammu and members of Red ribbon Club of the college. Dr Piyali Arora, convener Red Ribbon Club conducted the entire programme. |
