| Community mobilization programme under SBMS organized | | | Early Times Report
BILLAWAR, Feb 5: Community Mobilization Programs under Sakshar Bharat Mission Scheme (SBMS) of Government of India, were held in different gram panchayats of block Billawar at Government High School Bhanote.
According to press release, the programmes were organized by District Coordinator Sakshar Bharat Mission, Billawar Manvi Vaid along with respective Preraks of gram panchayats under overall supervision of BDO Billawar and ZEO Billawar.
On this occasion Sarpanches, Panch and people from these panchayats were participated. The District Coordinator stressed upon the vision of the government to provide "Education for All". She asked the Preraks and respective sarpanches of respective gram panchayats to identify illiterate people and motivate them to enroll in the Sakshar Bharat Mission.
Under the Sakshar Bharat Mission government provides free basic education for the illiterate. The government provides books and education free of cost to the people so that basic literacy can be imparted to the illiterate people. |
