| Jammu, Feb 20: The NSS Unit of Ramisht College today organized slogan writing competition and symposium of save daughter, educate daughter. According to press release, 20 students participated in slogan writing competition a around 20 students took participation in symposium. The students expressed their views that there is a stringent decline in child sex ratio of girls per 1000 of boys between 0-6 years of age since 1961. So, co-ordinate and convergent efforts are needed to ensure survival, protection and empowerment of the girl child. Chairman of the College, Rajinder Sharma applauded the efforts of the students and said that such type of competition can bring a drastic change in the society. |
