Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Feb 20: Candidates have demanded postponement of BOSE test for posts of junior assistants on February 21, 2016, saying the date clashes with that of test for 10+2 pattern posts going to be held tomorrow across the state.
Junior assistants' posts were advertised by BOSE on August 20, 2013. The SSB test would be held in the morning and that of BOSE from 2 to 3 pm on the same day. The BOSE test time was earlier from 1 to 2 pm but it was rescheduled following the SSB test in the morning.
The candidates said the holding of the test on the same day would only help the candidates of Jammu and Srinagar while others were likely to suffer.
The Kishtwar candidates have urged the governor and the BOSE chairman to cancel the test tomorrow and issue fresh date so that they could also appear in the test.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner, Kishtwar, has revamped the list of supervisors as well as invigilators after the list of invigilators along with their allotted centres was leaked on social media.
After receiving the complaints from the invigilators that they were receiving help calls from the job aspirants who were going to sit in tomorrow's test, the DC made the changes in the list. He also issued strict directions to the staff engaged for conducting the test that any laxity on their part would not be tolerated and warned action in case any untoward report was received during test.
"All the staff members engaged for conducting the test have been properly briefed with regard to rules and regulations of the test," said DC, Kishtwar, Ghulam Nabi Balwan.
He said that the job aspirants and the staff had been advised not to carry mobile phones or any other accessories inside the examination hall and added that no one will be allowed to assembled outside examination centres. He said police had been asked to take strict action against those who might try to enter the centres or assembled outside them.
It is pertinent to mention that 4116 job aspirants will appear in test at 12 different locations within Kishtwar municipality limits tomorrow. The maximum number of 1200 candidates will be accommodated at Islamia Fareediya Higher Secondary School while rest of the candidate will be accommodated at GDC Kishtwar (350), HSS Boys (700), HSS Girls (350), Adarsh Balniketan (101), BVM HS Kishtwar (260), Daffodil Model Public School (190), Green Model Academy (150), SDM Public School (190), New Era Public School (210), Kendriya Vidyalaya Kishtwar (250) and ITI Kishtwar (160).
