| 'Not naming anyone in FIR wake up call for India' | | Pathankot Terror Attack | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 20: Pakistan Police not naming anyone in the FIR lodged in connection with Pathankot terror attack and giving a clean chit to JeM terrorist Moulana Masood Azhar has once again proved that Pakistan cannot act against the terrorists responsible for unleashing and promoting terror.
Pakistan Police have made it clear that it failed to establish the role of Moulana Masood Azhar and the mobile phone numbers which were passed on to Pakistan by India are untraceable.
The recent developments have made it clear that Pakistan is clearing the ground to close the case. "The probe carried out by Pakistan investigating agencies was nothing more than a cosmetic exercise. It was ordered to buy time and mislead India," said an expert.
He said, "Pakistan knows it very well that it giving clean chit to the Pathankot terror attack mastermind won't make any difference as India won't react."
The expert said that India needs to take serious note of Pakistan allowing terrorists to roam scot free. "Pakistan's inability to rein in the terrorists has encouraged them to wage a war against India and back stab us. It's high time for India to stop counting on Pakistan and expect that the neighboring country would act against the terrorists whom it defines as "good militants."
He said, "It's unfortunate that terrorists, who bleed India are good, and cannot be touched. It has been proved beyond doubt that Pakistan has been fighting a proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir for the past 25-years and the attacks which were carried on in different parts of India were the handiwork of the terrorists who came from the other side."
A defence analyst said, "India should not allow Pakistan to send its investigating team to Pathankot. It's mere a drama and it should not be encouraged. We have had enough. By giving clean chit to Azhar and his brother in Pathankot attack Pakistan has added insult to our injuries."
He said, "India needs to act tough. If Pakistan is really sincere it should handover Moulana Azhar and his brother to India. We cannot rely on the investigations carried out by the Pakistan and its agencies."
A politician while talking to Early Times said, "Since the day BJP led NDA Government has come into power it has messed up India's foreign policy. It has failed to handle Pakistan and terrorists. Prime Minister paying surprise visit to Pakistan and terrorists carrying out a strike at Pathankot a few days after Prime Minister's visit is an ample proof about the fact that Pakistan is not interested in living peacefully with India."
He said, "BJP leaders should realize that mere rhetoric is not going to work and practical steps are needed to tackle Pakistan and the terrorists." |
