Jammu, Feb 20: Annual day cum prize distribution function was organized by GLS Public School at Police Auditorium here today.
According to press release, the function started with lightening of lamp by Chairman of the school, Sardar Deep Singh and Karamjeet Kour.
In this cultural function, about 200 students of the school exhibited their talent. The program was a bouquet of beautiful performances. Dance, group dance, fancy dress shows and skits were performed by the students of classes from pre- nursery to 10th class.
The performance of children spreads the colours of love, brotherhood, patriotism and spirituality. They also gave very meaningful messages like abolition of child labour and the side-effects of excessive use of technology like mobiles and laptops on the children.
During prize distribution, the parents and the concerned teacher were called upon the stage to honour the meritorious students.
