| MVIS hosts prize distribution ceremony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: MV International School today organized the 'Annual Prize Distribution Function - 2015' here at school premises.
Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, MVIS graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Gourav Abrol, Director, MVIS was the Guest of Honour.
In the first segment the winners of Inter School events of the previous two months were felicitated, which included '2nd Prize in Inter School Folk Song Competition organized under Jammu Sahodaya; First prize in State Level Painting Competition organized by the Oil & Natural Gas Commission to Atish Slathia of 8 B; Cash prize of Rs 2000 to Raghav Dabgotra of 7 B in State Level Painting Competition organised by Water Resource Commission, Govt. of India; Winners of North Zone Speedball Championships; Medal winners of National Matsogi Do Championship and the Medal winners of National Science Olympiad (09 Gold, 03 Silver and 03 Bronze). Chairman stressed on the opportunities provided at MVIS for complete development of every child's personality. Later, 360 students were awarded with "Certificates of Excellence" in Inter House Cultural and Sports events. Director of the school inspired the children to believe in hard work and make winning a habit.
The vote of thanks was extended by the Principal K L Dogra. The program concluded with the National Anthem. |
