Kissan Goshti organized under ATMA

UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: A Kissan Goshti under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) was organized today at village Sudhmahadev which was chaired by Sub Divisional Magistrate Chenani, Devinder Sharma. During the programme an interactive session was held between experts from Agriculture department and progressive orchardists. About 100 orchardists from Sudhmahadev and adjoining villages participated in the programme during which latest technical know-how regarding scientific cultivation of fruit crops was imparted to the participants. Chief Horticulture Officer, C.L Sharma briefed the orchardists about the proposed Apricot village in Chenani belt. District Level Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Pathology) Brij Vallabh Gupta delivered lecture on benefits of adoption of horticulture/IPM/INM technology to the orchardists.
