| Interactive session on 'Think it's all about mindset' held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9 : The students of School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of Jammu today conducted an interactive session on 'Think it's all about mindset' here at G L S Public School.
The session was about countering the inclination of young minds towards extremism. It is a student driven activity which focusses on channelizing the energy of young minds.
This is the initiative of SHTM students namely Priyanka Sharma, Sanjana Nischal, Ranjeet Singh, Aseesdeep Kour, Chetna Handa & Gourav Sharma under the guidance of Prof. Parikshat Singh, Director, SHTM, University of Jammu.
The team made the school students aware of the mindset that leads youth to take the path of extremism and destruction and also shared how the youth can divert their energy towards positivity and develop a constructive outlook.
They also shared the photos showing the two extremes i.e., the photos showing places destroyed by extremist mindsets and also those from developed countries which shows the power of positive and constructive minds.
The administrator of the school, Gurpreet Singh, thanked the visiting team and their faculty members and guides for visiting the school and making students aware with such valuable inputs. |
