JAMMU, Apr 9: Vigilance and other anti-graft organisations have started a campaign to tighten grips over those officials, who were attached with some of the former Ministers of the previous Government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
One of cop, who was associated with a former BJP Minister, is under the surveillance of anti-graft organisations because it is alleged that the said cop has amassed huge wealth during the ten months tenure of the previous coalition regime.
This cop- which common people perceived, is responsible for the sacking of the Minister from the Council of Ministry, has been constructing a palatial house in the outskirts of the city. The cop during his ten months tenure of previous Government has collected huge money from officers in the name of transfer industry. It was all due to misdeeds of the cop that transfer industry was flourished. Ironically the Minister, with whom the cop was deployed, was unaware of the misdeeds of staff. It is yet not known whether the ex-Minister was awared of the misdeeds of his personal staff but one thing is clear that this cop has availed all opportunities to mint money through illegal means. |
