Food Craft courses concludes | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 9 : The first three batches of ongoing job oriented courses organized at Govt. Degree College Udhampur in collaboration with Food Craft Institute, Jammu & sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India concluded here. About one hundred eighty students underwent the training Food Production, Food and beverage services. During these courses besides a stipend of Rs. 2000/- and Rs. 1500/- uniform and kit were also given to the participant students. Moreover a placement derive for interesting pass out will also be held very soon. On this occasion Principal of the College Prof. S.S Bhalwal distributed the certificates and cheques of stipend among the trainees in the presence of Jyoti Bhati, Principal Food Craft Institute, Jammu. The Principal of Food Craft institute in his address spoke in detail about the vide scope and aim of the Govt. of India providing training to the students under Hunar Se Rozgar. The Principal of the host College congratulated pass out and encouraged the other students to enroll themselves for these courses. Besides Dr. Udhey Bhanu and Prof. Suresh Kumar Dogra, NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Romesh Kumar Atri, Prof. Kamal Kishore, Prof. Sanjay Kumar and other faculty members were also present. |
