Jammu, Apr 9 : To celebrate the Navratra Festival, the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 97th Musical Play "Maa Sheranwali" in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM as parts of its regular feature at Durga Bhawan, Janipur, Jammu. "Maa Sheranwali" musical play written, produced and directed by ML Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) highlighted the importance of the play, the music was composed by renowned Singer Raju Bajgal. The programme commenced with welcome song "Jai Jai Sheranwali" , "Mayia he mahiya meri Mahiya " , "Tum Durga Tum Laxmi Tum Hi Maa Sheranwali" presented by the artists of BLSKS and lighting of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest along with guest of honours. Welcoming the dignitaries VK Magotra, MD, BLSKS explained aims and objectives of the programme. Besides above artists participated in the programme were Usha Handoo KK Joshi , MC Kotwal, Raju Bajgal (Instrument), Shan Khan (Instrument), Rajni Gupta and others. |
