KCPS holds French Festival | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 14 : A special French Festival was organized at the KC Public School today to give the parents first-hand experience of listening to their children speaking, reciting, singing and even dancing to a song in French language. French is taught at KC Public School as the third language at the middle school level besides Sanskrit and Urdu in addition to Hindi and English as mandatory languages. A good number of students opt for French language in the institution in view of its world-wide popularity. The programme consisted of well rehearsed items related to the use of the language in a variety of real life situations such as general conversation, formal recitation, lyrics in the language and even a trendy fashion show with French language being used to present it. The parents were quite amused with the programme and enjoyed it thoroughly. Director of Elementary Education, Arti Chowdhary was present at the event and praised the children for doing a wonderful job of showcasing their comfort and ease in the language in front of their parents. Principal, Amarendra Kumar Mishra thanked the parents for encouraging their Children with presence on the occasion. |
