Jammu, Apr 14: Displaying in human behavior, the men in blue at Nagrota forced a pregnant woman to loss her baby allegedly as her vehicle was not allowed to leave for clinic. According to Abdul Hussain resident of Bain village in Bajalta, he was shifting his wife namely Sultana Bibi to the private clinic for treatment after she developed labor pain. The victim alleged that their vehicle was stopped at TCP Nagrota by the traffic police team led by a lay DTI. "We requested her many a times to let us go but the traffic police men did not listen," alleged the victim. At that time, he said, his wife started crying for help owing to the profound bleeding. "After over 45 minutes, we were given keys and then, we left for clinic where we were informed that their baby had died ," alleged the father of the deceased unborn baby. He said that they had lodged a complaint to the police station Nagrota for registration of FIR against the traffic police, but no case was registered.
Meanwhile SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta was found busy in a meeting when contacted for action against traffic cops.
