GPC celebrates birth anniversary of Khalsa Panth | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 14 : Sikh Community today celebrated 317th birth anniversary (Sajna Diwas) of Khalsa Panth today with full religious devotion and enthusiasm as oper basic Nanak Shahi Calander of 2003. The programme was organized by DGPC Jammu with cooperation of sikh sangat in which large number of devotees participated from all corners of Jammu to strengthen the message of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.Ragi Jatha and preachers threw light on the importance of Sajana Diwas Tarlochan Singh Wazir, President J&K State Gurdwara Parbandhak Board while addressing the gathering stress for unity and uniformity of sikh community in the state for effective resolution of burning issues. On this occasion, Sikh Sangat of J&K expressed its serious concern over the recent acts of certain anti-social elements against sikh Gurus, sikh history and our living Guru Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Who demanded stern action against all such communal elements who have dared to challenge sikh religion and are a serious threat to peace in the state. Sikh Sangat also expressed its grave concern about making Santa Banta movie having been made with sole motive of mocking and denigrating Sikhs. |
