Early Times Report Jammu, May 10: KPC lambasted Consumers Affairs Public Department and other agencies responsible for not releasing ration to displaced Kashmiri ration holders, despite of clear cut orders from state and center Govt.to provide the same ration as per the old scale, which include nine kgs of rice, two kgs of Atta and one kg of sugar per month per soul under order No.R&R/ MR 42/ 2016 dated April 13, 2016 and expenditure to the same is debited to Security Related Expenditures born by Govt of India. Taking serious note of this big in human act, Kundan Kashmiri, KPC Chief stated that it is a grave Human Right violation and departments and officers responsible for the same act would have to answer and face the consequences. This also exposes the high handedness of the departments concerned who have no human heart to understand the gravity of the situation, being faced by the displaced Kashmiri ration holders who have no any other source of income to purchase the ration from the open market and totally depends up on supply of ration by the Govt, after their displacement from Kashmir valley whose, huge land and property has been encroached, forcibly occupied and taken under distress sale. |
