| Police book 'sexploiter' SHO | | |

Jammu, May 5: Police have booked a Sub Inspector for his alleged involvement in sexual exploitation of a woman victim.
Taking the cognizance of the news report carried by this newspaper 'SHO turns sexploiter,' and has been exploiting a woman in his custody, the Director General of Police (DGP) held a crime meeting with all divisional SHOs at PHQ. He directed his subordinates to hold the departmental inquiry and lodge a FIR against the accused policeman.
Following the directions from the PHQ, a probe committee was set, even SSP Jammu was directed to register the case against the Sub Inspector who was posted as SHO in the police station in city outskirts.
Sources said a woman Special Police Officer who was allegedly helping her boss is also under scanner and she too would be grilled. |
