| Male teacher allegedly misbehaves with female colleague | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 10: A male teacher allegedly misbehaved with a female teacher who happens to be 2nd incharge of a school in Rajouri District here today. Meanwhile higher zonal authorities have ordered an inquiry in the matter.
As per reports the headmaster of Govt Middle School Ninganaad of Rajouri district was absent today and the 2nd incharge Siya Devi reportedly arrived at school about by one hour late.
"To her surprise, she found a line marked in her name in arrival time column in attendance register of the school, reports said, adding, "when she enquired about this one male teacher namely Mohd Shakoor came forward and started misbehaving with his female counterpart.
"He (the male teacher) even used abusive language in presence of other faculty members and when the female teacher objected this, the male teacher came forward and even dared to bullying her however some other faculty members intervened and rescued the lady teacher.
Meanwhile irked over this the locals staged a protest against such type of activity in the school premises where a male faculty members can put his female colleague in an embarrassing situation which according to them has potential to leave a bad impression upon them. Protestors have demanded strict action against the accused teacher- Mohd Shakoor.
Meanwhile ZEO Rajouri Mohd Rashid has initiated an inquiry in the episode and in a telephonic conversation he assured that a team will be sent to school for on the spot verification and whosoever found guilty will be punished as per law. |
