Anti encroachment drive launched in Udhampur | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, May 10: Continuing its effort to make the city free of encroachments and unwanted congestion, the officials from district administration and Municipal Committee escorted by police launched an anti encroachment drive here today and also warned the traders to remove illegal encroachments from markets in Udhampur. Following directions of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Udhampur the ADC UDhampur Angrez Singh Rana , Tehsildar Sapna Kotwal, Municipal Commissioner K K Chalotra along with a team of revenue officers and concerned SHOs today undertook an anti-encroachment drive in Mukherjee Bazaar, Gole market area and market situated near Govt Girls Higher Secondary School. "During the drive the enforcement team inspected around about 47 shops in Gole market and served warning to the shopkeepers to remove their temporary and permanent encroachments at earliest failing so strict action as per law of land will be taken against defaulters. The officials also warned the vehicle owners to park vehicles in the public parking instead of roads which is resulting into inconvenience and also warned if they failed to do so their vehicles otherwise will be lifted besides action against violators. |
