PYC asks BJP to clear stand on sainik colony, NEET issues | | | Early Times Report Batote, May 10: Taking a dig at Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh for not clearing his party's stand on establishment of Sainik Colony in Kashmir, Pradesh Youth Congress Congress (PYC) President, Pranav Shagotra today dared BJP leadership to clear stand on NEET, NIT, chopper tax and other issues. "Being a partner in the coalition government, BJP leadership is duty bound to clear its stand on these issues which are snowballing into political controversies", Mr Shagotra said while addressing a rally of party workers at Ramban Batote this afternoon. PYC Pranav Shagotra was accompanied by Satish Sharma PYC General Secretary,Balbir Singh PYC Secy, Sandeep singh Rissam PYC Spokesperson and Rashid Malik LYC Vice President. "Instead of clearing party's stand on such important issues, state leadership of BJP is adopting double standard on all vital issues to befool the people", PYC president said but hastened to add, "gone are the days when BJP leaders used to hoodwink the people, now common masses are very much aware and real face of the Saffron Party has been exposed". Exhorting party workers to educate the people about pseudo nationalism and pseudo Hinduism of BJP, Shagotra observed that for enjoying power the incumbent BJP leadership can go to an extent. Ridiculing BJP's double speak on Sainik Colony and NEET issues, Mr Shagotra said that being part of the coalition BJP is part of coalition government and it is a party to all decisions taken by the state government from time to time. He said that BJP has to make its stand clear to establish on which side it is as far as the issue of Sainik Colony in Kashmir is concerned. Pointing towards Congress winning floor test in Uttarakhand, PYC president said that it was victory of democracy in the country. |
