LOC Trade Association Poonch stages protest

poonch, May 10: Trade across LOC was started by both governments - India and Pakistan to strengthen CBMs, enhance relationship and bring peace and prosperity in state. However some vested interests are doing damage by sabotaging the CBMs. In latest move, Trade Association of POK in convince with some traders of this side sent a list of 140 traders with whom they wish to trade, out of 303 firms few were selected and list was sent to district administration. However traders from Poonch protested against this unviable and unjust move, they further demanded that district should come forward instead of mute spectator.
Youth leader Imtiaz Salaria said "Our administration particularly Custodian of trade across Loc should clear stand and take action so that CBMs are not affected. While another speaker Nischal Gupta said that both the governments should strengthen CBMs for peace in region. He further said that only 4-5 traders have hijacked the whole trade and dictating their own terms and conditions.
