JAMMU, May 10: Sabare Army Pre- Primary School Ratnu Chak come out as winner of Kids karate cup 2016 while St' Joseph Convent High School, Nagrota and Air Force School, Satwari, Cantt Jammu emerged as runner-ups today, at Rotary Club Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The cup was organized by J&K Sports Karate Do Association (Affiliated with Tenshinkan Karate Federation of India) from 9th to 10th of May 2016 wherein 270 Students from 10 Schools took part. Aruna Sharma member of the Association addressed the welcome speech where Dr. Ashok K Gupta (IPS) Former Inspector General of Police J&K (Chairman of the Association) was the Chief Guest while Meenu Mailk (Principal Sabare Army Pre-Primary School, Ratnu Chak, Dr Amit Vaid and Niharika Pandey were the Guests of Honor. The chief guest distributed the medals to the winners and while addressing, Dr Gupta appreciated all the players as well as the officials and said that the primary aim of the championship was to bring the best talent into light and to expose the art at the National and International level. Brijesh Bhau Chief Tech, Director of the Kids Karate Cup 2016, Sensei Shashi Janotra, Sensei Shakti Kuamr and Sensei Vinay Bhat officiated the Championship while Sensei Gopal Dass and Sensei Ganesh Gupta were the Referee during the Championship. The prominent schools which took part in the mega event included JK Public School, Astro Kids Play way School, Tiger Army Pre-Primary School, Air Force School, St' Joseph Convent School, Sabare Army Pre-Primary School, Little Champ Play way School, Gromming Kids School, Rotary Club, Gandhi Nagar and Spring Dales School. |
