| PHE dailywagers' strike enters 56th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 10: on the 56th of their strike, a strong protest was organized under the banner of All J&K PHE ITI Trained and CP workers association by PHE daily wagers in front of Chief Engineer’s Office Jammu.
According to press release, the protestors were chanting slogans in support of their burning demands.
During the protest demonstration, the association has decided a scheduled for protest rally in different districts of Jammu province.
The protestors alleged that we have been staging protest demonstration for the last 56 days but the incumbent government not considered their demands so far.
"Number of committee and Sub-committee and State Administrative Council were framed by the government and Governor to resolve our long pending issue but every time our files were seen gathering dust in the secretariat. Such a move of the previous government is proving as a eye wash", they said.
The agitation workers were demanding to frame proper policy for regularization and release of their pending wages as soon as possible. |
