udhampur, May 10: All J&K PHE, ITI Trained & CP Workers' Association today held a protest at Military Hospital Chowk Udhampur demanding regularization of services of daily wagers ITI,CP workers of PHE Department.
Demanding regularization of their services, hundreds of daily wage workers of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department under the leadership of provincial president of the association, Tanveer Hussain, today held a protest and also blocked ever busy Jammu Srinagar highway at MH Chowk to register their protest. Addressing the protestor, Hussain said that the successive Governments have showed indifferent attitude towards the workers of PHE and have failed to regularize services of about daily wagers ITI,CP workers of PHE Department despite made promises.
Speakers warned to further intensify agitation if their demand of regularization is not met before the dead line served to the Government by the Association. |
