| JTC delegates call on relief commissioner | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 10: A delegate of Jagti Tenant committee called on Relief commissioner at his canal road office and apprised him of various issues pertaining to Kashmir migrant relief holders.
During the meeting delegation, members led by JTC president SL Pandita urged Relief commissioner RK Pandita that Kashmir migrant relief holders were not provided their monthly ration for the last four months despite the direction issued by Union Home Ministry .The kashmiri migrants have been facing many problems including the non distribution of ration ,.
If the situation continues for some more time in the same manner the hapless community will be at the verge of starvation , Pandita added . he said we are left with no other option to come on road against the government .
Relief commsioner gave a patient hearing to the delegation and asked to wait for some days more . If the migrant relief holders ration is not released soon then I will also join your protest as Kashmiri migrant to press the government to mitigate our demands, he said. |
