Revenue Officers/Officials booked for issuing different 'revenue extracts' of same land | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 11: State Vigilance Organization (SVO) today registered a case against four revenue official including the then Patwari Halqa Nanak Chack, then Naib Tehsildar (Rural) Samba and then Tehsildar Samba and others for their alleged involvement in issuing different 'revenue extracts' of same property. According to State Vigilance spokesperson, pursuant to verification conducted upon the receipt of a complaint from the Court of Learned Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu lodged by one Meena Anand w/o Sunil Anand of W-5/7 Samba alleging therein that one Gulab Singh s/o Phulla Singh of H No 101, Nanak Nagar, Jammu through his attorney holder Sardari Lal in connivance with Yudhvir Singh, the then Patwari Halqa Nanak Chack, Ram Dass Sharma, Girdawar Nanak Chack, then Naib Tehsildar (Rural) Samba and then Tehsildar Samba deprived the complainant of her land as the same was sold by Gulab Singh to Raj Kumar s/o Ram Krishan of Meerth Tehsil and District Samba and Jugal Kishore s/o Om Parkash of Village Rasoo P.O Hatli, Kathua. Spokesman of vigilance organization said that verification has revealed that Patwari Halqa Chak Nanaka, Yudhvir Singh, prepared fictitious/ fraudulent revenue record by concealing the real facts issued Fard Intikhab, Nakal Khasra Girdawari and Tatima Shajra of the land falling under Khasra No's 291 measuring 6 kanal 3 marlas, khasra No. 145 measuring 2 kanal 11 marlas and khasra No 148 measuring 11 marlas (Total 09K-05M) situated at village Chack Nanaka Tehsil and District Samba, actually owned and possessed by the complainant Smt Meena Anand to Gulab Singh of Nanak Nagar, Jammu showing it in his name. During investigations it has been found that Patwari Chak Nanak Yudhvir Singh in connivance with S Gulab Singh and his attorney holder namely Sardari Lal tempered/prepared fictitious revenue extracts in respect of khsara No's 291, 145 and 148 of the complainant to give undue benefit to S Gulab Singh The above mentioned acts of omission and commission on the part of above named revenue officers/officials and the beneficiary constitute the offences punishable u/s 5(1) (d) r/w 5(2) J&K PC Act, 467, 468, 470, 471 and 120-B RPC. "Accordingly a case FIR is registered against all above named public servants and private persons under the aforesaid sections of Law. Accordingly a case is registered at P/S VOJ and further investigation is going on, he added. |
