PHE ITI trained employees hold protest

Jammu, May 30: All J&K PHE ITI trained and CP Workers Association Jammu Province today held protest demonstration.
According to press release, today consecutive day of PHE Daily Wager a strong protest demonstration was organized under the banner of All J&K PHE ITI Trained and CP Workers Association held in front of Chief Jammu in support of their demands.
The worker from various districts and sub division were gathered here and hold a strong protest rally.
The worker were raising slogans against the Govt. many of them were carrying banners and play cards in their hand.
"Number of committee and sub- committee high power committee and State Administrative Council were framed by the Govt. and Governor to resolve our long pending issue but every time our files were seen gathering dust in the secretariat", said an agitated employee adding that such a move of the previous Government was mere an eyewash.
"We are being cheated every day, our dream shattered and our lives ruined even after tireless service day and night. The agitation worker were demanding to frame proper policy for their Regularization and release of their pending wages they alleged that Govt. has turned a deaf ear towards their plight.
Moreover we were not paid wages since last 48 month", he said, and added that they were demanding release of their wages in time and regularly.
"Even ITI Worker were engaged as per Govt. Cabinet decision No. 116/4 Dated:11-05-2006.
Tanveer Hussain (President) alleged that despite assurance given by last Finance Minister, & PHE Minister that their demands will be met within two or three month but till date no further action in this regard", said another employee and added that many of them have been working for the last 15-20 years but they are still waiting for Regularization. He said the worker would stop the water supply if the issue was not resolved. "We are really apologized for the problems face by the people of Jammu Province for the disturbed of water supply", he regretted. The agitating employees appealed all the daily wager workers to get unite and join a protest progranme for grand success.
