Banihal, May 30: Four houses reportedly were gutted in a late night fire incident in Bingara village of District Ramban. according to police sources though there was no report of loss of life or injury but property worth lakhs has been got damaged in this incident. Police sources said, "The cause of fire yet has not been ascertained while investigations are on on this regard.
Police sources said that after the information of fire, police team rushed to the spot and started the rescue cum fire fighting operation.
"Due to the huge flames of fire it was very difficult to douse the billowing flames of fire," said an eye witness during telephonic conversation.
Police sources said, "However no loss or injury to life is reported in this incident.
Meanwhile the affected i.e. whose houses got damaged in this incident have been identified as Abdul Aziz, Bashir Ahmed both sons of Abdul Raheem Shah, Mohd Asif s/o Bashir Ahmed Shah, Ayaz Ahmed s/o Abdul Aziz Shah all residents of Bingara Pogal paristan Banihal.
Pertinent to mention that due to the non availability of road connectivity in the area the fire tenders could not reach to the spot and fire fighting operations was dome manually which resulted into huge losses to fire affected.
