JAMMU, June 27: The ice on stalled interview process for Assistant Professor posts' has apparently melt as the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission will shortly forward the names of selected candidates in Physics, Mathematics, English subject to Higher Education department. Sources in JKPSC informed Early Times that after the stalemate over issuance of Minimum Procedure Certificate (MSP) got resolved the JKPSC had restarted the stalled interview process for posts of Physics, Mathematics and English. The interview process was concluded few days back and the candidates have been eagerly waiting for the selection lists, which were expected to be forwarded to JK Higher Education department few days after conclusion of interviews. "Some of the candidates had submitted provisional MSP certificates to JKPSC. Such candidates were allowed to appear in the interview after taking an affidavit of submission of MSP certificate in stipulated time", sources said, adding that due to issuance of provisional certificate the JKPSC had failed to publish the selection lists of candidates. Though the officials of Jammu as well as Kashmir University officials had denied about issuing any provisional MSP certificate but JKPSC has reportedly been verifying the certificates from the varsities. Secretary of JKPSC Shakeel-ur-Rehman said that selection lists of Physics, Mathematics and English were almost prepared and in one or two days, would be forwarded to Higher Education department. On being asked about the interviews for other subjects, Secretary said that on 30thof June, interviews for subject Music have been scheduled besides for 13th of July, interview for Home Sciences subject would be taken. He expressed hope that till the end of July month, all the interviews for all the subjects would be concluded. |
