Life returns to normal in Pampore | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, June 27: Life returned to normal in Pampore in south Kashmir , where eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and two Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were killed and 22 securitymen were injured in an encounter on June 25. Shops and business establishments reopened today and work in government offices, banks and educational institutions was normal. Yesterday shops and business establishments remained closed in Pampore though traffic was plying on the Srinagar-Jammu normally. Additional security forces and state police personnel remained deployed at different places on the highway to foil any militant attack on security force convoy and other VIPs. More security forces had been deployed at Fristabal, where the militant attacked by CRPF bus. Similar security measures had been made at other vital places on the highway. |
