Kark Vijayan-Cancer survivors- celebrated health with harmony 6/27/2016 11:06:02 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 27: Jammu witnessed formation of 1st Cancer survivorship group Kark Vijayan conceptualized by LBN Radiations of Hope (Cancer Care Foundation). The day long activities started with Yoga Session in the morning and culminated with Roza Iftaar in the evening. Bhartiya Yog Sansathan,Anjuman-E-Imamaia & Arya Samaj Purani Mandi provided logistics ,help and motivational support to the organizers. For the patients the day began on a positive note with Yoga where instructors guided them how to distress during treatment and taught them benefits of Yog Asanas. The management of Centre for Eye Sight announced free OPD for Cancer Patients for lifetime at its Centre, Rehari Chungi for Eye aliment. After successful conduct of yoga session Prasadam was distributed by J&K Dharmarth Trust. In the evening Anjuman-e-Imamia coordinated the Roza iftaar for Cancer patients & survivors. People from all walks of life were present on occasion and resolved to help this group in fight against cancer.
