Jammu, June 27: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha( JCMS ) to be held elections on July 17 from 10 Am to 5 Pm in the premises of the Central Mahajan Sabha, Shalamar road Jammu as per the election notification. Moreover the last date for withdrawal of the candidature is June 28, 2016.
As per the provision of the Constitution of Jammu central Mahajan Sabha and Election Notification a working Committee meeting was held, which was presided Vinod Kumar Gupta to find out common Consensus. Meeting was attended by OP Gupta, Election Commissioner and his team included Raiesh Chowdhary, Kishore Kumar Gupta and Pawan Gupta (duly nominated) and all the contesting candidates and Members of the working Committee as well as Office bearers.
However, after the meeting was addressed by some contesting candidates and members, the meeting turned into futile and unfruitful exercise due to some allegations and counter allegations leveled against each other. So holding the election for office of the President, JCMS is the only resort. |
