02 women among 03 injured as bank guard's gun accidently goes off | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 27: Gandhi Nagar police today arrested the security guard of J&K Bank Ashok Nagar after three customers of the Bank including two women sustained injuries when the gun of the guard went off accidentally this morning. According to police sources, the injured have been identified as Usha Sharma w/o Late Rattan Chand of Rani Talab Jammu, Dalbir w/o Inderjit Singh of Nanak Nagar and Qasim s/o Sameer Bhatti of Nai Basti Jammu. Sources said that incident took place when gun of security guard namely Bacchan Singh s/o late Teja Singh of Bantalab Jamm who has been posted at J&K Bank Ashok Nagar Satwari since last 06 years went off accidentally resulting pellet injury to three visitors to the bank. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar for treatment. 'Meanwhile, the police sources said, "the gun of the guards has been seized and a case in this connection stands registered at Gandhi Nagar police station under FIR no 151/16 under sections 336, 337 and 286 of RPC and further investigations are on. They said the security guard has been detailed for questioning.
