JAMMU, June 27: The munshi of Ramgarh police station was today attached to the DPL after a rape victim's family members today allegedly told a senior police officer that he had inititally overlooked their complaint against the accused.
A girl was a few days back raped near Swankha Morh under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh police station. The victim's family members called on the senior policer here and told him that the concerned police had so far failed to arrest the accused, police sources said. They said after they went to Ramgarh police station, the munshi tried to find faults with them while overlooking their complaint against the accused. Taking a strong note of it, the police officer ordered the attachment of munshi Ratan Lal. |
