Government failed to control stone-pelting incidents in Kashmir: Congress

Kathua, July 15: Congress Party today staged massive protest demonstration against allegedly failure of state government to control the situation in Kashmir wherein 36 people were killed down, major injuries to security persons and stone pelting incidents occurred with pilgrims to holy cave Amarnath ji.
Paramjit Singh Pamma, General Sectary PYC led the protest and demanded restoration of tranquility in the state. He said people should be knew the real face of J&K coalition government when Mufti Mohammad Sayeed former CM of J&K gave credit to Pakistan, Militants and Separatists to conduct smooth election in J&K that the government would not favor in peace. He said Kashmiris youths continually attack on innocent pilgrims, security forces but Prime minister of India sent special Doctors' team for the Medicare that exposed the dual attitude of BJP government. Pamma said Mehbooba Mufti, Chief Minister of J&K, withdrew criminal cases against stone pelter that urged them to perform similar incidents as the pelter know that the PDP will support them in future too. Som Raj, a sarpanch said Bharatiya Janta Party promised to make the yatra successful with the claim that a hindu based party is now in power. He asked where are their claims when the yatra is being targeted everywhere on the way in Kashmir. The protesters demanded strict action against stone pelter. They appealed government especially BJP to wake up from deep slumber, work for the people and be active to control the situation in Kashmir. They said BJP leaders roared in Assembly house to make news in papers than during this tough situation wherein the BJP acts like spectators and keep mum.
