22 months over, work on realignment of 132 kv line not started yet 7/27/2016 10:44:22 PM Sushil Dutta Early Times Report Rajouri, July 27: September 2014 flood played havoc in Poonch and as a result many people lost their lives in addition to loss of public and private property. 27 persons lost their lives in Poonch District. Now, twenty two months are over and failure of administration in starting realignment work again has raised an eyebrow on the efficiency of government. Locals expressed huge resentment against government and said that the life line of Poonch district 132 kv transmission line is still out of order and work on its restoration has not started yet despite a decision on its realignment and starting of work was taken many times but on ground no action has been taken. Now the question arises what is the achievement of government when it fails to come to the expectations of the people. In Poonch, three Deputy Commissioners are replaced by the government but the matter is still in cold store. Locals expressed unhappiness over all the Poonch legislators who failed to fight for the cause.
