Early Times Report Jammu, July 27: The Income Tax Department sleuths conducted surveys to scrutinize the KC Groups in district Jammu and Samba, here on Wednesday Official sources said that the surprise inspections were carried out simultaneously in various premises of the KC Groups since morning and was in progress, till late hours. Sources said that IT sleuths conducted scrutiny of documents on business establishments of the one of the owners of KC Group namely Raju Choudhary which included K C Public School, KC Sports Club, KC Hundai Car Showrooms, both in Jammu and Srinagar as well, KC Chevrolet, Westside Store in KC Central Cineplex at Canal Road and two Steel Mills at Bari Brahmana in district Samba. "The surveys/scrutiny of documents was conducted by different teams of Income Tax sleuths led by Incharge Income Tax Officer Hitesh Kumar, sources said, adding, "it was a routine affair: During the inspection, it is reported that the Income Tax sleuths have seized some business related documents including account books, bank accounts and other incriminating documents for scrutiny. However the news of IT inspections have created a panic among the business entrepreneurs in the Jammu city. |
