Alleged sacrilegious act sparks protest, Jmu-Pnch Road blocked 7/27/2016 10:44:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 27: The Jammu-Poonch National Highway (NH) was today blocked on city outskirts here when a large number of people came to roads to register their protest over an alleged sacrilegious act this morning. Amid slogans, hundreds of protestors assembled on the Jammu Poonch Highway near Mishriwala of Domana of city outskirts and blocked the road while demanding strict action against alleged sacrilegious act by some unidentified miscreants near the temple. Reports said, "locals noticed some body parts of animal near a temple to hit the religious sentiments of particular community.' Agitated over the alleged 'sacrilege act' the local assembled near temple and started protesting against the miscreant and demanding early arrest of the culprits asserting that an attempt was made to disturb the communal harmony and peace in the region. Meanwhile, police and administrative officials rushed to the spot to pacify the situation.
